At its meeting Thursday evening, the Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Protection District’s board of directors honored the lifesaving actions of Jonathan Carroll, who on Jan. 28 pulled a 3-year-old boy from the wreckage of a head-on collision that killed the child’s mother. Assemblywoman Kristin Olsen also sent a certificate of recognition.
